ACTOR / PHOTOGRAPHER - I'M BOTH

My approach to headshots is 100% guided by my experience and training as an actor. Just like any scene, my goal is to be present and connect with the person in the room. We're not modeling and this isn't picture day at school. The camera will come into play when it is necessary but I believe the best headshots are simply capturing that sense of connectedness between two people. Whether that connection is between the photographer and his subject or the character and her audience, that ability to reach through the lens and hold people with your presence is what makes us actors. So bring that scene you're working on, that character you were born to play, but most importantly bring yourself - I can't wait to meet you.
